Clinical Practice
I'm a developmental and clinical psychologist trained in gold-standard treatments with strong scientific support for adolescents and families. I specialize in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to treat emotion dysregulation, self-injurious behaviors, and trauma. Additionally, I practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and have pursued specialized training in trauma- and conflict-focused adaptations of CBT, including Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT) and Alternative for Families CBT (AF-CBT). I am fortunate to have received training in TF-CBT and AF-CBT directly from the founders of each of these treatments. I strive to take a culturally-humble approach and believe that my client is the expert in their own life, no matter their age.
